As usual our members reached out to the schools and community.  Here are some of the wonderful Community Service projects our association members have been involved in during the 2023-2024 and the beginning of the 2024-2025 school years:

Our members:

• made a monetary donation to two food pantries (Millington and Chestertown) and the Lion's Club Christmas Baskets.

• donated clothes to the Nurse's room at Galena Elementary School.

• donated hygiene items to Henry HIghland Garnet Elementary School for their school community.

• maintained our three Little Libraries (Worton, Galena, and Rock Hall).

• donated a copy of the children's book, "Emerald the Green Dolphin", written by Glen MIchaels' nephew, to each elementary school.

•served as docents to several Kent County museums.

• donated pet supplies to the county's new Animal Care Shelter.

• created lovely "Raffle Baskets" for our scholarship luncheon.

• read to elementary students during "Read Across America". 

• prepared baskets of goodies for teachers that were donated to each school in the county.

All of these projects were accomplished through the hard work and commitment of our members!
